Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Cheese Picks collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to accounts created here.
Information we collect
- Account data: email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), and display name.
- Phone number: collected only for one-time SMS verification used to prevent duplicate and abusive accounts.
- Discord: if you link Discord, we store your Discord account ID and public username. We never receive your Discord password and we do not retain access tokens.
- Messages you send: anything you submit through the contact form.
- Usage data: basic, aggregated analytics about page visits used to improve the site.
How we use it
To create and secure your account, verify that you are a real person, deliver picks and account notifications, respond to your inquiries, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Third parties
VIP membership and billing are handled by Winible under Winible's own privacy policy — we never see your full payment details. SMS verification is processed by Twilio. Affiliate links to sportsbooks take you to those operators' own sites, which have their own policies.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in every message, or from SMS by replying STOP. You can unlink Discord from your account page, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us through the contact page.
Age requirement
Cheese Picks is intended for adults of legal wagering age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
